Background

She was born and raised in Polson, Montana.

Her great grandfather Joseph Cline built the first Flour Mill here in 1912. Her grandfather, John Cline, owned Cline Motors, a Ford dealership that is now Beacons Tire.

She graduated from Eastern Montana College in Billings with a Biology Major and Chemistry Minor.

During her 34-year educational career, she proudly served for four years as Superintendent of the Polson School District. Working together with the Board of Education, educational staff, and the community, she passed a bond to replace a leaking roof at Polson High School.

With Polson former Board Member, John Laimbeer, through the State’s program, “Safe Routes to School,” she installed sidewalks from Linderman School to 7th Ave to enhance the safety of children walking to and from school.

As a State legislator, her strength is that she will bring problem-solving experience and ability to get the job done to the legislature to tackle the difficult issues faced in Lake County.
