The community is invited to hear upcoming guest speaker Bill Barron, Lake County Commissioner share about the Montana Water Rights Protection Act bill. He will discuss the long-term implications for Lake County from the perspective of his office of the budget from loss of property taxes, public right of ways, as well as ceding CSKT the National Bison range.

One or more of the Lake County Commissioners are coming to discuss the Lake County Justice Facilities and Operations Levy.


The levy will authorize the commissioners to levy 2.5 Million dollars for twenty years to support the building of the Jail and court expansion. It will also cover the cost of operating these facilities. This will represent a 37.5 mill increase for home owners in Lake County.


Come out to find out more about this levy as a homeowner to inform yourself as a voter. Free Coffee and snacks will be provided.
